Obituary of Malcolm VerNooy

Malcolm VerNooy, age 82, died Thursday, October 6, 2005 in Wayne. Mr. VerNooy was born September 19, 1923 in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late Stanley D. and the late Anna (Bennett) VerNooy, He lived in Wayne and was formerly of Bogota And Nutley, NJ. Mr. VerNooy was a graduate of Yale University and taught Chemistry there until leaving to work as a Project Manager FDA Liasion for Union Cardbide Chemical Co., In Tarrytown, NY for 49 years retiring in 1992. Mr. VerNooy was a Volunteer at St. Josephs Hospital in Wayne, a member of the Preakness Reformed Church, Wayne and the Pines Lake Seniors. He is survived by his wife the former: Edith ( Haas) , one daughter: Lynn Bakker of Sutton's Bay, MI, and two sons: Mark of East Lansing, MI and Paul of Hockessin, DE and 6 grandchildren.
