Obituary of Dorothy Ellen Atkinson

Dorothy Ellen Atkinson, age 93, died Sunday, August 28, 2005 at home in Lincoln Park. Mrs. Atkinson was born July 17, 1912 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Edward and the late Mary Ellen (Cummings) Furler. She lived in Lincoln Park and was formerly of Totowa Boro And South Kortright,NY. She was employed by Wright Aeronatical where she was Supervisor before retiring. Mrs. Atkinson was a member of Union Avenue Baptist Church, Paterson and a World Vision International Child Sponsor. She is survived by one daughter: Patricia And Her Husband Carmine Battista of Montville, NJ, one son: William C. of Auburn, NY, one sister: Hope Bosland of Lake Worth, FL, Cousin, Lauretta Messier and many Nieces And Nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, William J. in 1988 Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:00 AM at Moore's Home For Funerals, with Rev. Henry Speidell officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
