Obituary of Gloria Durkin

Gloria ( Mabie) Durkin, age 74, died Tuesday, August 9, 2005 at home in Wayne. Mrs. Durkin was born July 22, 1931 in Waldwick, NJ the daughter of the late Frederick and the late Cora (Blair) Mabie, She lived in Wayne and was formerly of Hawthorne. She was employed by Eastern Paint & Varnish Hawthorne,NJ where she was the Office Manger for many years before retiring. Mrs. Durkin was a member of Waldwick United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband: Peter Durkin of Wayne, two daughters: Debra DeGraff of Greenwood Lake, NY, Darlene Robinson of Butler, five brothers: Fred Mabie of Ridgewood, NJ, John (Ed) Mabie of Upper Saddle River, NJ, Robert Mabie of Jefferson Twsp, NJ,and Donald Mabie of Wyckoff, NJ. Her brother Kenneth Mabie passed away on 9/30/05. No Visiting hours - Private Cremation. A memorial Service will be held at the United Methodist Church, 25 Franklin Tpke. in Walwick,NJ on Saturday October 8, 2005 at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 2550 US Highway 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902
