Obituary of Rocco L. Bruno

Rocco L. Bruno, age 79, died Friday, August 5, 2005 at Hospice Of New Jersey, Wayne. Mr. Bruno was born May 1, 1926 in Jersey City, NJ the son of the late Pasquale and the late Carmella (Visaggio) Bruno, He lived in Wayne since 1959. Mr. Bruno was a US Navy Veteran serving during World War II. He was employed by Construction Service Company Bloomfield,NJ where he was Carpenter for many years before retiring. Mr. Bruno was a member of St. Michaels Cathedral Chapel, West Paterson, NJ He is survived by one daughter: Linda Kubiak of Wayne, NJ, one son: Tom Bruno of Port Jefferson Station, NY, six sisters: Rose Bruno of Lodi, NJ, Edith Del Sardo of Jackson, NJ, Victoria Damiano of Wayne, NJ, Emily Giacchi of Clifton, NJ, Lena Backhaus of Brick Twsp., NJ, and Annette Calatozzo of Paramus, NJ, one brother: Nicholas Bruno of Lodi, NJ 4 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Mildred (Thomas) in 1999,a brother: Joseph and a sister: Angie Natoli Visiting hours will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Tuesday at 9:30 AM at St. Michaels Cathedral Chapel, 415 Lackawanna Ave. West Paterson with Fr. Marcel officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack.
