Obituary of Anna A. Amos

Anna A. (Thiessen) Amos, age 85, died Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at home in Wayne. Mrs. Amos was born October 22, 1919 in Paterson, the daughter of the late Julius and the late Doris (Hynes) Thiessen, She lived in Wayne for over 40 years. She retired from Western Publishing, Wayne, where she was Order Picker, she also worked in the A&P Baking Dept. in Wayne before retiring in 1996. Mrs. Amos was a member of The Preakness Bible Church in Wayne. She is survived by one daughter: Sharon Cona of Wayne, two sons: Edward of Newport, NH and Larry of Webster, NH one sister: Doris Gantner of FL, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward in 1989 and a brother, Julius Thiessen. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-5 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Monday at 10:30 AM at Moore's Home For Funerals with Pastor Karl Records officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
