Obituary of Cornelio P. Barreto

Cornelio P. Barreto, age 50, died Monday, July 25, 2005 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mr. Barreto was born February 2, 1955 in Iloilo City, Philippines. He lived in Pompton Lakes for the last 10 years and was formerly of Paterson. In 1976 he earned his Associate Degree in Marine Engineering at Iloilo Maritime Academy in the Philippines. He was employed by Preakness Healthcare Center where he was Stationary Fireman. Mr. Barreto was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes. He is survived by his wife the former: Zaida Ignacio of Pompton Lakes, two daughters: Caroline Anne I. and Catherine Anne I. both of Pompton Lakes, his mother Estela (Peracion) , three brothers: Hospicio, Nemesio and Jose, two sisters Corazon and Erlinda all of the Philippines, and several Nieces and Nephews. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. The funeral service will be Wednesday during the visiting. Burial will be in Forest Lake Cemetery, Mandurriao, Philippines.
