Obituary of Rose Anita Kearney

Rose Anita (Mc Fadden) Kearney, age 88, died Friday, July 8, 2005 at Hospice Of New Jersey, Wayne. Mrs. Kearney was born January 6, 1917 in Pittston, PA the daughter of the late Michael and the late Rose (Middleton) Mc Fadden. She lived in Wanaque and was formerly of Paterson. She was employed by Rolands Pharmacy, Pompton Lakes,NJ where she was Sales Associate, previously she worked at Meyer Brothers, Greater Paterson General Hospitals Wishing Well and Marcal in Elmwood Park. Mrs. Kearney was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes, and the Rosary Altar Society and the Columbettes. She is survived by one daughter: Rosemary Grassia of Wanaque, NJ, one son: Joseph,Jr. of Lodi, NJ, one sister: Sr.Rosela (Rita) McFadden of Brooklyn, NY, 5 Grandchildren, Karen,Brian & Robert,Jr. Grassia and Marie & Joanne Kearney; Great Grandchildren: Ashley Rose Grassia and Jake Kearney. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph B. in 1963 Visiting hours will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Tuesday at 9:30 AM at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 17 Pompton Ave, Pompton Lakes where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Rev. Kevin Downey.
