Obituary of Denise Crowley

Denise (Voiland) Crowley, age 101, died Monday, July 3, 2005 at St. Josephs Home For The Elderly, Totowa. Mrs. Crowley was born April 15, 1904 in Chalonvilar, France the daughter of the late Gustave and the late Philomene (Chapuis) Voiland, She lived in Totowa since 1992 and was formerly of Paterson. She was the former owner in the 1930s of The Denise Beauty Shoppe in Park Ridge, NJ and later a Homemaker. Mrs. Crowley was a former member of St. Theresa R.C. Church, Paterson and its Rosary Altar Society. She is survived by one daughter: Judith Rowe of Pompton Plains, three sons: Edward of Pompton Lakes, Jack and His Wife Helen of Wayne and Robert Crowley of Wayne, also 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband John in 1982 and her sister Amelia Ryan in 1958. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. Additional visiting will be Wednesday from 9:00-10:15 am at St. Josephs Home, 140 Sheperd Lane, Totowa, where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 am. Private cremation to follow.
