Obituary of John Joseph Collins Jr.

John Joseph Collins, Jr., age 63, died Monday, June 6, 2005 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock Twsp. Mr. Collins was born October 15, 1941 in Paterson, NJ the son of the late John Joseph and the late Eva Paula (Tintle) Collins, He lived in Haskell and was formerly of Prospect Park. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed by Spoelstra Brothers Hawthorne,NJ where he was Sheet Metal Worker for many years before retiring. Mr. Collins was a member of St. Paul's R.C. Church,Prospect Park, NJ He is survived by two daughters: MIchele Collins of Haskell, NJ and Stephanie Collins of North Haledon, NJ, two sons: John of Wayne, NJ and Daniel of North Haledon, NJ, one sister: Judith Hoek of Prospect Park, NJ, one brother: James Collins of FL and 2 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Lou Collins Visiting hours will be Friday from 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 1219 Ratzer Rd., Wayne with Rev. John Donnelly officiating. Private cremation to follow.
