Obituary of Charles Giardina

Charles Giardina, age 87, died Friday, May 20, 2005, at home in Manchester. Mr. Giardina was born August 24, 1917 in New York, NY the son of the late Vito and the late Christina (Mistretta) Giardina, He lived in Manchester and was formerly of Wayne. He was employed by Pellicone Agency, Clifton, for 25 years where he was Real Estate Broker, then owned and operated Giardina Real Estate in Clifton before retiring in 1990. Mr. Giardina was a member of Our Lady Of Consolation R.C. Church, Wayne, and the President for 8 years of the Seniors at OLC, a member of the Italian American Club and the Travel Club. He is survived by his wife the former: Mildred Ledzinski, two daughters: Christina Saccamanno of FL and Anne Marrone of Wayne, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Vincent , and his first wife, Lillian Compesi. Visiting hours will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Our Lady Of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by . Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddlebrook.
