Obituary of Margaret A. Kaelin

Margaret A. (Vokes) Kaelin, age 85, died Wednesday, May 4, 2005, at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock Township. Mrs. Kaelin was born April 28, 1920 in Ontario, Canada, the daughter of the late Ralph and the late Laura (Dale) Vokes. She lived in Pompton Lakes and was formerly of Gutenberg and Cliffside Park. Mrs. Kaelin was a graduate of Paterson State Teachers College, Wayne. She was employed by Lenox Elementary School, Pompton Lakes, where she was a teacher for 19 years before retiring. Mrs. Kaelin was a member of Jacksonville Chapel, Lincoln Park and the Christian Womens Club there. Previously she attended the Riverdale Bible Church and the Grantwood Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Pompton Lakes Womens Club. She is survived by her husband of 62 years: Donald,one son: Mark of Montclair, NJ, one daughter: Jill Walter of Pompton Lakes, NJ, one brother: Donald Vokes of Moorestown,NJ and six grandchildren. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Moore's Home for Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Monday at 10 AM at Moore's Home for Funerals, with Pastor David Gustavsen officiating. Burial will be in the Pompton Reformed Church Cemetery, Pompton Lakes.
