Obituary of Elinor A. Parella

Elinor A. (Orts) Parella, age 87, died Thursday, April 28, 2005 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mrs. Parella was born January 27, 1918 in Newark, the daughter of the late William Lucas and the late Cora Margante (Newman) Orts. She lived in Wayne and was formerly of Lake Hiawatha, NJ and Bushkill, PA. She was employed by Westinghouse in Newark and Pearless Tube in Belleville, NJ, where she was Quality Control Technician for many years before retiring. Mrs. Parella attended St. Mary's R.C. Church in Pompton Lakes, NJ. She is survived by one son: John and His Wife Nancy of Wayne, a sister Rosemary Voss of Little Falls, one brother William Orts of Sussex and 2 Grandchildren Brian and Christopher. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest in 1992. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Monday at 9:30 AM at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 17 Pompton Ave, Pompton Lakes where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Rev. Kevin Downey. Burial will be in Christ The King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.
