Obituary of Robert B. Stevens

Robert B. Stevens, age 69, died Sunday, April 17, 2005 at Morristown Mem. Hospital, Morristown. Mr. Stevens was born October 5, 1935 in Haledon, NJ . He lived in Sussex and was formerly of Wayne,Stockholm and Vernon. He served in the US army during the Korean Conflict. He attended Fairleigh Dickenson, Rutherford. He was employed by Kawneer Company Carlstadt, NJ where he was a warehouse Manager. Previously he was a Wayne Police Officer and an expeditor for Brower Brothers in Haledon. He was a Coach, for 12 years, at the Wayne PAL where he started the midget football league. For many years he was an official for high school games in North Jersey. He was a member of the National Federation of High School Officials. For over 10 years he was a member of the Wayne Board of Education and from 1973 - 1974 he was President. He is survived by his beloved companion, Maryann Orsine of Vernon, two daughters: Dawn Dahl of Hardyston and Danielle Orsine of Vernon, NJ, three sons: Mark of PA, Paul of CA, and Nicholas and his wife Heather Orsine of Vernon, NJ, His Uncle, William Dimond of Wayne, NJ; and 8 Grandchildren, Jason,Jeffrey,Casey, Tommie,Bobby, Jacob, Quentin And Samantha He was predeceased by his daughter, Dale Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Thursday at 10:30 AM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne with Mark Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
