Obituary of Robert Thomas Christie

Robert Thomas Christie, age 70, died Friday, April 8, 2005 at New York Hospital, New York. Mr. Christie was born May 26, 1934 in Kearny, NJ , the son of the late Maurice and the late Florence (Butler) Christie. He lived in Wayne and was formerly of North Arlington. He served in the US Army during the 1950's and was stationed in Germany. He was a 1971 Graduate of Rutgers University where he earned a BS in Business also his CIC and CPCU in Insurance. He was employed by The Andover Companies in Andover,MA where he was the Manager of the Central Department . Mr. Christie was a member of Our Lady of Consolation RC Church, Wayne,the Upper Montclair Country Club, Edelweiss-Passaic and the Knights of Columbus Council # 2338, North Arlington. He is survived by his wife the former: Helene T. Doull, one daughter: Theresa and her husband Ralf Enke of Bloomfield, NJ, two sons: Kevin and his wife Monica of Rutherford, NJ, and Patrick and his wife Janet of Chatham, one brother: William of Nutley, NJ. and 5 Grandchildren: Christian: Annika, Colton, Aidan And Patrick Alastair Visiting hours will be Monday from 7-9 PM and Tuesday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Wednesday at 9:30 AM at Our Lady Of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Fr. Michael Lombardo.
