Obituary of Elsa Goovaerts

Elsa (Luding) Goovaerts, age 83, died Sunday, April 3, 2005 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mrs. Goovaerts was born January 4, 1922 in Rossbach, Czech Republic. The daughter of the late Emmi Luding, She lived in Wayne and was formerly of Carlstadt. She was employed by Lincoln Dress Shop in Carlstadt where she was Seamstress many years before retiring. Mrs. Goovaerts was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church Of The Incarnation, Pompton Lakes, a Volunteer at Passaic County Seniors Day Care and a member of the Wayne Golden Age Club. She is survived by one son: Harold Goovarts of Haledon, one sister Edna Wilfing of Germany and 3 Grandchildren Kim, Karl & Diana.She was predeceased by her husband, George and son Erwin. Visiting hours will be Friday from 2-4 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ. The funeral service will be Friday at 3:00 pm with Rev. Robert Palkewick officiating.
