Obituary of John Karl Kranich, Jr.

John Karl Kranich, Jr., age 90, died Saturday, April 2, 2005 at Prince William County Hospital, Manassas, VA. Mr. Kranich, Jr. was born October 24, 1914 in Paterson, NJ the son of the late John and the late Minnia (Beacher) Kranich, He lived in Manassas and was formerly of Paterson. He was employed by Public School System in Haledon,NJ where he was Mechanical Custodian. Mr. Kranich was a member of Lessing Passaic Lodge # 67 F&A Masons since 1939 and also a member of the Haledon Fire Department. He is survived by two daughters: Louise F. Kelley of Wayne and Alvina E. Ligieri of Pompton Lakes , Three sons: George T. of Manassas, VA, Alvin C. Shreveport, LA, and Rudy of Howell, one sister: Ruth Boyd of Elizabeth, 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife the former Alvina ( Klempp) in 1989. Visiting hours will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Saturday at 10:30 AM at Moore's Home For Funerals. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson.
