Virginia K. (Dusenbury) Hudson, age 84, died Saturday, March 19, 2005 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock Twsp. Mrs. Hudson was born September 14, 1920 in Hackensack, NJ the daughter of the late William H. and the late Kate A. (Schuler) Dusenbury, She lived in Wayne since 1959 and was formerly of Bergenfield,NJ. During the World War II, she was a draftswomen for Bendix Corporation and worked on components for the Norton Bomb Site. She was a 1942 graduate of Syracuse University earning a BA in Fine Arts and a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority. She was employed as a free lance textile designer in NYC. She also earned her teaching degree from Montclair State College. For many years, she taught fine arts in the Wayne School system. After 1973, she worked at Electroneuclonics in Fairfield as a draftswomen. Mrs. Hudson was a member of Preakness Reformed Church in Wayne. She was a member of Pines Lake Association, the Womens Club, the Garden Club, and the Sailing Club. She was also a member of the Ski Club of New Jersey. She is survived by two sons: Andrew W. and his wife Karen Hudson of Cornwall on the Hudson, NY and Thomas E. of Knoxville, TN, 2 Grandsons: David & Kyle. She was predeceased by her husband, James R. in 2000. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2005 at 11 AM at Preakness Reformed Church, Wayne,NJ.
