Since the 9th grade, I have been happy to call George my friend. He was one of the good guys: always smiling, always playing practical jokes. George's tireless enthusiasm for life was unparalleled. Despite not seeing each other for periods of time, it would always be wonderful to meet up again at John and Michele's Christmas parties as if no time had passed since we last talked.
Good friend, you will be missed by everyone who was blessed by your friendship. You can be assured your smile and laughter will always be remembered. And may the warmth and comfort of your memory replace the pain and suffering your family is feeling. God Bless You, George.

George I have been Blessed for 31 years with you as my best friend. Although your warm smile is no longer in my presence you have left me with with the most fond memories any friend could have ask for . I will remember all of the good and sad times we have shared until we meet again. Remember if it wasn't for me you would have never met your lovely and beautiful wife Cathy and your two wonderful children Mathew and Marrisa which now have become my best friends. I love you buddy and I leave you with this. Friendship is a promise spoken only by the heart. It isn't given by any pledge. It isn't written on any paper. But frienship is a promise that is renewed every time two friends meet and smile and enjoy the good times that come from simply being together. It's a promise to share both glad and sad times. A promise to think of each other fondly whether near or far apart. Love your best friend John

The Mango Family~~~
We have known the Mangos'for many years, from living in the same neighborhood in Newark before moving to Belleville.
We knew George all through grammer school and high school.
George was a great guy, loved by many people. He always had a smile and a kind word.
He will be missed very much.
I'm so happy I saw him at the Reunion in November of 2004. It was great to see him so happy.
I pray that God will give all of you strength and comfort and a peace that passeth all understanding.
May he rest in the arms of the Lord.
God Bless you

Dear Cathy and family,
It hurts so much, its hard to even think about it. I'm sorry that you have to know this kind of grief. I can't imagine the world without George. But I do know that he's in good company and someday we'll all be reunited with our loved ones. We love you.

Not knowing where to begin, I am going to write this as if I anm speaking with my good friend, George.
George,
Since Monday night when I learned of your passing I have felt a great emptiness in my heart. You and I met about 8 or 9 years ago when I was modeling for you at a show. From the first time I met you, you ALWAYS had a smile on your face. You always looked out for me and would bend over backwards to assist me or any other of your friends. I will NEVER forget how you you would give me a hug every time you would see me and say "hey kiddo, how are you?" Those words have been ringing in my ears since I learned of your passing. George, you were a good man. You were a great friend, colleague, father and husband and led your life in a manner that others should try to emulate. George, it is very hard for me to imagine going to a a bridal show and not seeing your smiling face or getting advice from you on how to handle certain situations in my life. I will truly miss you and all the joy and peace that you brought to my life. You're a good man. While I will be living my life to the fullest while I am on earth, I will be waiting for the day when we meet again in heaven. Your friend forever, Reggie Wade

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints in our hearts and we are never ever the same. - author unknown
In the five short years that I have had the pleasure of calling George my friend, I have witnessed the footprints he has left behind. Always a kind word, always a good laugh, always a helping hand.

Dear George,
I will always have great memories of you especially from our younger days at SHU and beyond. We were blessed to have such a great group of friends for so many years. At times it felt like we were brothers. You and I always remained close friends for over 30 years even though life sometimes took us in different directions. From Bellevile to Seton Hall, to the clubs, and the Jersey Shore to our weddings and families, and living in Wayne together, you were always good for a laugh and always there to lend a hand. Whenever we were together we always had a lot of fun that became great memories. But most importantly you were always a true friend. I will always remember the last time we played cards with the boys at my office just a few months ago. I am so thankful to have called you my friend during the last 30+ years. God bless you dear friend, you will never be forgotten but terribly missed.
Love, your friend,
Tom Toto

Dear Cathy, Matthew and Marissa,
Over the past year, I have had the privilege to get to know George through our mutual partnership in resolving customer issues with our stores.
George is a kind and loving human being. After we would speak about the issues, he would always end the conversation with some humorous antidote of a fun happening that he took part in with your family. He certainly reflected the love he had for all of you when he was telling me his stories.
I will truly miss him and his positive attitude toward life.
I will keep you all in my prayers.
With deepest sympathy
