Obituary of Warren H. “Aka Harold (Hal) Warr
Warren H. Dickey, known professionally as Harold (Hal) Warren, age 77, died Saturday, March 12, 2005 at Hospice Of New Jersey, Wayne. Mr. Dickey was born April 5, 1927 at St. Catherines Hospital in Brooklyn, NY the son of Harold and Eva (Hopgood) Dickey. He lived in Teaneck and was formerly of NY City And Fort Lee, NJ. Mr. Dickey attended Queens College and later did graduate level work in music and fine Arts at both Columbia and Julliard in NY.
He served in the US Coast Guard as seaman 1st Class from 1945-1946.
He retired from New York Theater in 1982 where he was Actor/Stage Manager, Choral Singer and worked in Theatrical Production.

He was production Stage manager for Fiddler on the Roof National Touring Company 1967-1968

Mr. Dickey was a member of Actors Equity, and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
As Hal Dickey, he was a Track & Field Official for NJ High Schools 1982-1994 and a member of the National Federation of High School Officials Association.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, the former: Norma (Harvey) Dickey, one son: David Ian Dickey of Saddle Brook, and a Granddaughter, Katherine Elizabeth Dickey of Saddle Brook.

A memorial service will be held at 3PM on Saturday April 9, 2005 at the Christ Episcopal Church in Hackensack, NJ. In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials may be made to The Music Fund at Christ Episcopal Church,251 State St. Hackensack, NJ 07601
