Obituary of Joseph W. Ellis Jr.

Joseph W. Ellis, Jr., age 85, died Sunday, February 13, 2005 at Florida Hospital Flagler, Palm Coast. Mr. Ellis was born October 23, 1919 in Roseland, NJ the son of the late Joseph W. and the late Rose Ellis. He lived in Palm Coast, FL and was formerly of Wayne. He served in the US Air Force during World War II. He was employed by Singer Kearfott, Little Falls, where he was Associate Engineer for many years before retiring.Mr. Ellis was a member of Wayne Memorial First Aid Squad for over 10 years, and a former member of the United Methodist Church In Wayne. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, the former: Alma (Bataille) , one son :Wayne Ellis of Ft. Mohave, AZ two daughters: Suzanne DeVoid of Prescott Valley, AZ and Karen Smith of Wayne, one sister: Wilma Sipple of Bricktown, NJ, and 5 grandchildren Visiting hours will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Saturday at 9:30 AM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne with Rev. George Fischer officiating. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover.
