Obituary of Frank Anthony Iozzio

Frank Anthony Iozzio, age 81, died Thursday, February 10, 2005 at home in Paterson. Mr. Iozzio was born May 25, 1923 in Hawthorne, the son of the late John and the late Sannidella (Yanneralla) Iozzio. He lived in Paterson. He served in the US Army during World War II. He was Owner/operator of F & J Confectionery and later a Paper boy Route Manager for the Newark News, a delivery man for the Morning Call, Paterson News,the Passaic County News and lastly Rachels News & Magazines in Passaic. He was a member of the Newspaper and mail deliverers Union of NYC and the Vicinity. After his retirement he was a Foster Grandfather at North Jersey Developmental Center in Totowa for 13 years. Mr. Iozzio was a member of St. Mary Help Of Christians R. C. Church, Paterson. He is survived by his wife the former: Mary Chidiac of Paterson, one daughter: Mary Jo Iozzio And her husband Giuseppe D' Amato of Hollywood, FL, two sons: John and his wife Adrienne Iozzio of Brooklyn, NY, Frank and his wife Helen Iozzio of Ridgewood. 5 Grandchildren; Owen, Corinne, James, Jesse and Frankie,Many Nieces and Nephews Many Great Nieces and Nephews, 2 greatgreat Nephews and 1 great-great Niece. He was predeceased by his son, Dr. Norman Iozzio, two brothers, Joseph and Dennis Iozzio, and four sisters, Minnie Damato, Josephine Di Giacomo, Rose Argott and Mary Norman. Visiting Hours will be on Sunday from 3-9PM. The funeral will be on Monday at 8:30 AM at the Funeral Home and at 9:30AM at St. Mary Help of Christians RC Church, 410 Union Avenue, Paterson where a Mass of Christain Burial will be offered by Fr. Joseph Buffardi. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. PLEASE OMIT FLOWERS.
