Obituary of A. Crew Schielke Jr.

A. Crew Schielke, Jr., age 65, died Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at Hospice of NJ, Wayne. Mr. Schielke was born February 28, 1939 in Paterson, the son of the late A. Crew and Florence (Marks) Schielke of Paterson. He lived in Wayne for over 30 years. He was a graduate of Central High School, Paterson, Seton Hall University and the New York Law School where he received his JD in 1967. He was a owner /partner at his law office - Schielke & Schielke, LLC, Wayne, with his daughter, Monique Schielke Valenzano,Esq. his son, A. Crew Schielke,IV, Esq. and Joel Albert, Esq. Mr. Schielke was a municipal court judge of West Paterson for 20 years and North Haledon. He was counsel for the Passaic Valley Water Commission, Member of the NJ Bar, admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States of America and former attorney for the Prospect Park Savings & Loan. He was a former member of the North Jersey Country Club. He is survived by his wife the former: Odette Gravel of Wayne, two sons: Robert Schielke and A. Crew Schielke, IV both of Wayne a daughter: Monique Schielke Valenzano of Highland Mills, NY, his mother: Florence ( Marks) Schielke of Paterson, a brother: David Albert of Wayne and a grandson: Nicholas Anthony Valenzano. He was predeceased by his baby sons: David Schielke and A. Crew Schielke, III. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Friday at 10:00 AM at Holy Cross R.C. Church, 17 Van Duyne Avenue & Holy Cross Way, Wayne where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Msgr Joseph Goode. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. In Lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Hospice of NJ, 400 Broad Acres Dr., 4th floor, Bloomfield, NJ 07003.
