Obituary of Elizabeth C. Hastings

Elizabeth C. (Del Grande) Hastings, age 91, died Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at Merry Heart Health Center, Succasunna. Mrs. Hastings was born March 7, 1913 in Lodi, NJ . She lived in Wharton and was formerly of Hewitt and Oak Ridge. She was employed by Paterson General Hospital , Paterson,NJ where she was The Head Dietitian and later for the West Milford Board of Education. Mrs. Hastings was a member of St. Thomas The Apostle R. C. Church, Oak Ridge, NJ She is survived by one daughter: Barbara Hastings of Wharton, NJ, one son: James and his wife Carol of Trenton, NJ, one sister: Mary Cooper of Ridgewood, NJ, 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren She was predeceased by her husband, Frank. Visiting hours will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Saturday at 9:30 AM at St. Thomas The Apostle R. C. Church, 5635 Berkshire Valley Road, Oak Ridge where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Msgr. John E. Fitzpatrick. Burial will be in Christ The King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.
