Obituary of Honor Troast

Honor (Adams) Troast, age 96, died Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at Sunrise Assisted Living, Wayne. Mrs. Troast was born December 19, 1908 in Nutley, NJ the daughter of the late Edward and the late Honor (Wheeler) Adams, She lived in Wayne and was formerly of Clifton, Port St. Lucie,Fl. and Harvey Cedars, NJ. She was employed by Mahoney-Troast Constuction, Clifton where she was Executive Secretary, previously she was a legal secretary for Beekman and Bogue in New York. Mrs. Troast was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church , Passaic. She is survived by 3 Nieces : Susan Winiarski of North Haledon, Edith Strom of Rutherford, and Alice Adams of Tucson, AZ; 3 Nephews: David W. Troast of Charlottesville, VA; James Adams of Boulder, CO., and Robert Adams of Baltimore, MD and 14 great nieces and nephews and 13 great-great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2005 at 2:00 AM at St. Johns Episcopal Church, 215 Lafayette Avenue, Passaic, NJ 07055. Private burial will be in East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Johns Episcopal Church.
