Obituary of Warren F. ““Bus”” Arata

Warren F. Bus Arata, age 87, died Thursday, December 23, 2004 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock Twsp. Mr. Arata was born October 22, 1917 in East Rutherford, NJ the son of the late George and the late Jennie (Campominosi) Arata. He lived in Wayne the last 51 years and was formerly of Paramus. He served in the US Army during World War II. Mr. Arata attended PennCharter School in Philadelphia, PA, the NJ Bankers Association Public Relations School and the Stonier Graduate School of banking at rutgers University, New Brunswick,NJ. He was employed by 1st National Bank Of NJ Totowa,NJ where he was VP & Auditor for many years before retring. Mr. Arata was a parishioner of Annunciation Of The Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, Wayne and the Knights of Columbus. He was the past president of the Pequannock Valley Rotary Club, a Director of the Ringwood Rotary Club and an active member in the East Rutherford Sideline Club. He is survived by his wife the former: Catherine Graf, three sons: Robert of Pequannock Twsp, NJ, William And His Wife Gale of Nutley, NJ and Bruce And His Wife Rachel of Snellville, GA, one sister: Rose Sargia of Toms River, NJ, 4 Grandchildren, Tim,Lauren,Christopher & Catherine Visiting hours will be Sunday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Monday at 9:30 AM at Annunciation Of The Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, 45 Urban Club Rd., Wayne where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Msgr. Stanley Schinski.
