Obituary of Mary Agnes Trongone

Mary Agnes (Maher) Trongone, age 86, died Saturday, December 4, 2004 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mrs. Trongone was born May 24, 1918 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of the late James and the late Helen (Delaney) Maher, She lived in Wayne and was formerly of Rochelle Park. She served as a commander with the US Navy during World War II, later she was employed by Navy Yard in Brooklyn,NY where she was Secretary for the Admiral for many years before retiring. Mrs. Trongone was a Volunteer at Passaic Valley Hospice for over 10 years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady Of Consolation R.C. Church, Wayne, NJ . She was a member of the Golden Key of Wayne and the Wayne Senior Citzens. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Angelo Trongone, one sister: Margaret Sea of Sacramento, CA, one brother: Anthony Maher of Kearney, NJ and many Nieces And Nephews. A memorial Mass will be offered on Wednesday at 9:30 AM at Our Lady Of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke. Wayne with Fr. Michael Lombardo officiating. Private Cremation.
