Obituary of Violetta Hill

Violetta (Haserick) Hill, age 80, died Thursday, December 2, 2004 at Kimble Medical Center, Lakewood, NJ. Ms. Hill was born September 23, 1924 in South Williamsport, PA the daughter of the late Roland and the late Violetta (Haserick) Hill, She lived in Toms River and was formerly of Wayne. She earned a BA in History from Rutgers University, Newark,NJ. She was employed by Lucius Pitkin Company NY,NY where she was Metallurgist for many years before retiring and previously at Curtiss Wright in Wood Ridge, NJ. Ms. Hill was the founder of The Writers Group in Toms River. She is survived by two sisters: Nora Hogan of Nags Head, NC and Rae Vollinger of Spring Hill, FL, her Companion, Kurt Karlssen of Toms River, NJ; and many Nieces And Nephews. Visiting hours will be Monday from 11-1PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral service will be Monday at 1:00 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne with Rev. Fred Herwalat officiating. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover.
