Obituary of Eleanor Vanderwiel

Eleanor (Hoffmeyer) Vanderwiel, age 87, died Sunday, November 14, 2004 at Calvary Hospital, Bronx. Mrs. Vanderwiel was born July 13, 1917 in Paterson, the daughter of the late Fred and the late Cora (DeVries) Hoffmeyer, She lived in Stockholm and was formerly of Paterson. She was employed by AC Hover Jewerlers in Paterson for 22 years then AAA Auto Club for 15 years also in Paterson where she was Secretary before retiring. Mrs. Vanderwiel was a member of Paterson Avenue United Methodist Church, Paterson and its Womens Guild. She is survived by one son: Peter Fred of Grapevine, TX, a Daughter-In -Law, Judy Vanderwiel of Stockholm, a Grandson, Peter Keith a Granddaughter, Susan Kate Maysonet;and a Great-grandson, Luke Issac. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 9-11 am at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 AM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne with Rev. Howard Sterling officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
