Obituary of Thomas Charles Higgins

Thomas Charles Higgins, age 84, died Thursday, November 4, 2004 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock Twsp. Mr. Higgins was born August 19, 1920 in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Thomas C. and the late Mary (Byrnes) Higgins. He lived in Haskell and was formerly of Wayne. He was a World War II Navy Veteran. He was employed by Wright Aeronatical Woodridge,NJ and later at Alkon Corp. in Wayne until he retired. Mr. Higgins was a former member of Holy Cross R.C. Church, Wayne. He is survived by two daughters: Peggy White of Old Forge, PA, & Barbara Staada of West Milford, NJ, and one son: Michael of Wayne, NJ, 7 Grandchildren, Tracy,Jennifer,Michael,Melissa Timothy,Heather & Rachel and 3 Great-grandchildren, Shannon,Lily & Jack He was predeceased by his wife, Lillian (Burtt) Visiting hours will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral service will be Monday at 8:30 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, with Fr. Phil LeBeau officiating. Private cremation to follow.
