Obituary of Richard A. Mauro

Richard A. Mauro, age 76, died Saturday, October 23, 2004 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mr. Mauro was born December 27, 1927 in Bronx, NY the son of the late Thomas and the late Anna (Meckes) Mauro, He lived in Wayne and was formerly of New Brunswick. Mr. Mauro was a veteran of the US Army and a lifetime member and past post commander of VFW Post # 2290, Manville,NJ. He was employed by Verizon Bronx, NY where he was Lineman. Mr. Mauro was a member of Annunciation Of The Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, Wayne, NJ He is survived by his wife the former: Marjorie DeLeon, one daughter: Dorothy and her husband Dominick Marinucci, one son: Tom and his wife Diane Mauro, and 4 Grandchildren: Stephanie,Samantha, Dominick & Kevin Visiting hours will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Annunciation Of The Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, 45 Urban Club Rd., Wayne where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Msgr. Stanley Schinski.
