Obituary of William P. Eaves

William P. Eaves, age 57, died Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at home in Haledon. Mr. Eaves was born May 15, 1947 in Paterson, the son of the late Alfred and the late Katherine (Breen) Eaves, He lived in Haledon and was formerly of Prospect Park. He was employed by State Farm Insurance in Wayne & Parsippany for 39 years where he was Support Techician before retiring in March,2004. Mr. Eaves was a member for 57 years of the Cedar Cliff United Methodist Church, in Haledon and a trustee .He also served in the Navy during the Vietnam war. He was a member of the Osceola Snowmobile Club in NY. He is survived by his wife of 34 years the former: Marilyn Lutolf, one daughter: Carolyn Eaves of Shillington, PA, one son: Scott and His Wife Sharon Eaves of Hawthorne,NJ, two sisters: Patricia Lancaster of Reedsport,OR, and Kathleen Chapple of Hawaii. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne. The funeral will be Friday at 10:00 AM at Cedar Cliff United Methodist Church, 18 Zabriski Street, Haledon with Rev. Ken Smith officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
