Obituary of James R. Mc Dermott Jr.

James R. Mc Dermott, Jr., age 86, of Wayne died Sunday, October 3, 2004 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock Twsp. Mr. Mc Dermott was born December 18, 1917 in Jersey City, NJ the son of the late James R. and the late Dorothy S. (Kaufer) Mc Dermott Sr. He lived in Westwood, Closter, North Granby, Ct. and Boothbay Harbour, Me. Before moving to Wayne. He served in the Army from 1943 to 1946 during World War II. Mr. McDermott was a graduate of Kean College and earned a MA degee in Industrial Arts. He was employed by City University of NY where he was Professor of Industrial Arts for over 40 years retiring in 1993. Mr. Mc Dermott was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church, Harrington Park, NJ He is survived by his wife the former: Matilda A. Deubach, two daughters: Diane Limey of Mt. Olive, NJ and Patricia A. Mc Dermott and her husband Thomas Emr of Wayne, NJ Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 6-8 pm at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:30AM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne with Rev. John Donnelly officiating. Burial will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus .
