Obituary of Evelyn M. Barton

Evelyn M. Barton, age 80, died Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at St Josephs Hospital, Wayne. Ms. Barton was born February 29, 1924 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Frank M. and the late Helen J. (Murphy) Barton. She lived there until moving to Haledon 67 years ago. She was a self employed Bookkeeper. She was a former memeber and state officer of the NJ Federation of Womens Club. She attended over 50 consecututive state conventions and was the founder of the Manchester Junior Womens Club in Haledon. She was a member of the Past Presidents Club of the NJ womens Club and a current member of the Riverdale Womens Club. Ms. Barton was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Jeptha Chapter, Ramsey. She is survived by one brother: Charles D. Barton of Fairport, NY, 2 Nieces: Leslie Guillen of Kingwood, TX and Cynthia A. Barton of Rochester, NY and 2 great grandnieces.
