Obituary of Thomas W. Hughes

Thomas W. Hughes, age 63, of Wayne, died Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at Meadowlands Hospital & Medical Center, Secaucus. Mr. Hughes was born in Paterson and lived there before moving to Wayne. He served in the US Army. He was employed by Grand Union in Oakland,NJ for many years. Mr. Hughes was a member of Meat cutters Union Local # 464, West Paterson. He is survived by his wife the former: Ruth Ann Mc Allister of Wayne, one daughter: Erin Hughes, three sons: Brian and his wife Carrie Burns, Sean and his wife Pam Burns, and Kyle Hughes all of Wayne,one sister: Betty and her husband Raymond Catogge of Hackensack, 5 Grandchildren: Shannon,Delaney,Mickey, Carleigh & Cassidy. He is predeceased by his son Kevin V. Burns. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Friday at 9AM at Moore's Home For Funerals,1591 Alps Road Wayne then at and 10 AM at St. John the Baptist Cathedral, Paterson with Msgr Mark Giordani officiating. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa .
