Obituary of Leila M. Del Conte

Leila M. (Cantrell) Del Conte, age 77, of Pompton Plains, died Wednesday, September 15, 2004.She was born on September 24, 1927 in Dolton, GA, the daughter of the late Homer V. and the late Maude (Watts) Cantrell. She lived in Atlanta, GA and West Paterson before moving to Pompton Plains. She was employed by Paterson Court House where she was Clerk for 25 years and also worked for Cokesbury Publishing House in Teaneck before retiring. Mrs. Del Conte was a member of Little Falls United Methodist Church and its Womans Guild . She was also a member of a Bible Study Group in Pompton Plains. She is survived by one daughter: Marcia Gail and her husband Roy Van Varick of Pompton Plains:a sister: Judy Garvin of Chicago, IL,a brother: Ward Cantrell of Orlando, FL and 3 Grandchildren, Jeffrey Richard, Todd Roy , and Marci Ann and a Great Granddaughter, Abigail Elizabeth . She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Del Conte (d.1990). Visiting hours will be Friday from 3:00-5:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 pm at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, The funeral service will be Saturday at 10:30AM at Little Falls United Methodist Church, 139 Main St., Little Falls with Rev.
