Obituary of Margaret Agatha Magee

Margaret Agatha (Brennan) Magee, age 96, of East Providence, RI., died Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at Evergreen House Health Center, East Providence, RI. Mrs. Magee was born April 8, 1908 in County Roscommon, Ireland, the daughter of the late Michael and Ann (Furey) Brennan. She lived in Paterson before moving to Providence, RI. She was employed by The Ladies House of St. Andrews Hospital in Northhampton, England for 10 years , as a charge nurse,until she came to this country in 1944. Mrs. Magee was a member of St. Mary Help Of Christians R. C. Church, Paterson. She was a Republician county committee woman for the second ward in Paterson for 17 years. She is survived by ;six Nephews Edward OLeary and Robert OLeary in Warwick,RI., Eamon Brennan of Bronx, NY, John Brennan of Yonkers, NY, James Brennan of Lititz, PA. , and Harry C. Keenan of North Kingstown; six neices ; Nancy E. Lester of E. Providence, RI, Colleen A.Walker of N. Providence,RI, Cristine McGovern of Huntersville, NC., Fita Fallon of Yonkers, NY., Marion Stracaluzi of Warwick, RI, and Helen Bellotti of Cranston, RI. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas Magee in 1975, a brother; Luke Brennan,and four sisters: Elizabeth Tracy, Katherine OLeary, Mary Keenan and Ann Mc Kenzie , and a nephew: Edward L. Tracy. Visiting hours will be Friday from 8:30-9:30 AM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Friday at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Help Of Christians R. C. Church, 410 Union Ave, Paterson, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Fr. Joseph G.
