Obituary of Elmer Ryan

Elmer Ryan, age 92, of died Sunday, August 29, 2004 at Brakely Park Center, Phillipsburg. Mr. Ryan was born December 23, 1911 in Spring City, PA the son of the late James and the late Lulu (Downs) Ryan. He lived in Paterson and Haledon before moving to Belvidere. He served in the US Army from 1942 to 1945 during World War II. He was employed by Railway Express Agency in Paterson where he was Truck Driver for 31 years before retiring in1976. He is survived by his wife the former: Florence Hambloch, one daughter: Nancy Johansson of Oak Ridge, NJ, two sons: Jack Faller of Dingmans Ferry, PA and Thomas Ryan of Wallice, TX, 4 Grandchildren, Lois,Diana,Lori & Jarrod He was predeceased by his grandson, Jack Faller Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Friday at 10:30AM at Moore's Home For Funerals, with Dr. David E. Wiley officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
