Obituary of Helen Marie Sapinski

Helen Marie (Wolczeski) Sapinski, age 95, of Wayne died Saturday, August 14, 2004 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mrs. Sapinski was born June 13, 1909 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Sophie (Jurgielewicz) Wolczeski. Born in Paterson, she lived most of her life in Paterson before moving to Wayne 27 years ago. She was a retired homemaker. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Stephens RC Church, Paterson and attended Our Lady of the Valley Church, Wayne in recent years. She was a member of St. Anthony Benevolent Society #619, Polish Roman Catholic Union of America, and a member of the Holy Rosary Society at St. Stephens Church. Her husband Joseph B. died in 1974. She is survived by three sons, Joseph J. of Wayne, son Thomas and daughter-in-law Peggy of Saddle Brook, son Raymond of West Paterson and daughter-in-law Chiem of Wayne, and a daughter MaryAnn Shoup and son-in-law Raymond of Wayne. Also survived by a brother Frank Woleski of Eatontown, NJ, nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Viewing will be Monday August 16th at Moores Home for Funerals, Wayne, NJ from 2PM-4PM and 7PM-9PM. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Stephens Church, Paterson Tuesday at 9:30AM.
