Obituary of Ruth Threlfall

Ruth Threlfall, age 95, of Totowa died Thursday, August 12, 2004 at home. Ms. Threlfall was born December 14, 1908 in Totowa Boro. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and the late Marie H. G. (Miller) Threlfall. She was a life-long resident of Totowa. She graduated Montclair Normal School, earning a BA in education and later at Montclair State College, earned a MA in education. She was employed by the Board Of Education of Little Falls for over 46 years, before retiring. She taught at the Great Notch School and School #1 in Little Falls.She was a charter member of the Business & Professional Womens Club of Little Falls for over 70 years. Ms. Threlfall was a member of Totowa United Methodist Church and also taught Sunday school there. She is survived by her sister Fanny Threlfall of Totowa, A nephew, Ray Threlfall of West Milford; and a Sister-in-law, Louise Threlfall. She was predeceased by her brother, Aaron Threlfall and a sister, Marie Threlfall. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-5pm at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne. The funeral will be Monday at 11:00am at Moore's Home For Funerals, with Rev. Kim officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
