Obituary of Nicholas V. Pillus

Nicholas V. Pillus, age 82, of Wayne died Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock Twsp. Mr. Pillus was born June 15, 1922 in New Philadelphia, PA the son of the late Joseph Anthony and the late Frances M. (Dapkiunas) Pillus. He married Bettie (Ball) 59 years ago. They lived in Wayne the last 40 years. He served in the Coast Guard from 1942 to 1945 during World War II . He was employed as a Central Office Technician by NJ Bell South Orange, NJ for over 40 years before retiring. He is survived by his wife: Bettie (Ball) , one daughter: Barbara Rush of Towaco, NJ, one son: William Pillus of Wayne, NJ, one brother: Joseph Pillus of Long Island,NY, two sisters: Rita Brown of Long Island,NY and Marion Joan Gatz of Fl. 5 grandsons and 6 great-grandchildren.
