Obituary of Florence Kunzier
Florence (Wacik) Kunzier, age 92, of Long Valley died Friday, May 28, 2004 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown.
Mrs. Kunzier was born January 4, 1912 in New York, NY the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Mary (Sabranek) Wacik. She lived in Passaic and Pompton Lakes before recently moving to Long Valley.
Mrs. Kunzier went to school in New York and graduated from business school.
She was employed as a bookkeeper and billing machine operator for Citi Bank and later at Macys in New York City. Her greatest loves were her family and writing poetry. She also enjoyed vacationing and was an avid swimmer. Mrs. Kunzier was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes, NJ.
She is survived by two daughters: Lorraine Addeo of Long Valley, NJ, Barbara Abrams of Chatham, NJ, two sons: Richard Kunzier of New Foundland, NJ and Frank Kunzier of New York, NY.
18 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren
She was predeceased by her husband: John Michael and her son: John Edward.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 AM at the funeral home and 11 AM at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 17 Pompton Ave. Pompton Lakes where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Rev. Kevin Downey.
Burial will be in Redeemer Cemetery, Mahwah.
