Obituary of Manuel Antonio Figueroa

Manuel Antonio Figueroa, age 60, of Paterson died Friday, February 27, 2004 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Paterson. Mr. Figueroa was born May 10, 1943 in Arecibo,PR, the son of the late Pablo and the late Adela Burgos. He came to the US at age 16 and settled in Paterson where he was a lifelong resident. He was a mixer for 37 years and retired from Nabisco, Fair Lawn, NJ in 2001. He was a parishioner of St. Mary Help of Christians RC Church, Paterson. He is survived by four daughters: Barbara Pereria of Paterson, NJ, Tammy Figueroa of Haledon, NJ, Marie Philpot of West Paterson, NJ, Linda Miranda of Hawthorne, NJ, one son: Roy Valentine of Paterson, NJ, 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara (Conklin) , and his mother, Adela Burgos. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Moore's Home For Funerals, with Fr. Joseph G. Buffardi officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa on Wednesday.
