Obituary of Anna Emily Van Der Vliet
Anna Emily (Boehme) Van Der Vliet, age 98, of Wyckoff died Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at Christian Health Care Center, Wyckoff.
Mrs. Van Der Vliet was born May 4, 1905 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Paul and the late Matilda (Schepp) Boehme. She lived in Totowa, Hawthorne and Montague before moving to Wyckoff. She married Deman VanDerVliet on May 30, 1930.
She was employed as a Secretary by the Paterson Silk Mills for many years before retiring.
Mrs. Van Der Vliet was a member of Minisink Reformed Church, Montague, previously the 2nd Reformed Church of Little Falls and its Ladies Circle and the Totowa Memorial Church of Paterson.
She is survived by two daughters: Lorraine Englishman of Allendale, NJ, Lillian Koch of Montague, NJ, one son: David of Elliston, VA, one brother: Alfred Boehme of Franklin Lakes, NJ, 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren
She was predeceased by her husband, Deman and her sister, Lillian Strobino.
Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Friday at 10:30 AM at Moore's Home For Funerals with Pastor Angelo Forleo officiating.
Burial will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
