Obituary of Harold S. Boughton

Harold S. Boughton, age 77, of Wayne died Thursday, February 12, 2004 at the Preakness Health Care Center in Haledon, NJ. He had been a Wayne resident the past several years and prior to that lived in Surf City, NJ. Mr. Boughton was born September 26, 1926 in Newark, NJ the son of the late George and the late Marie (MacMillan) Boughton. He was a graduate of the Newark College of Engineering (NJIT) in Newark, NJ and went on to earn his BA from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. He was life long educator and teacher who worked at numerous schools and companies. Mr. Boughton was a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and the National Vocational Education Association. He was also a former Board of Directors member of the NJ Motor Truck Association and a past president of their Maintenance Council. He is survived by two sons: Scot Boughton of Wayne, NJ, and Kevin Boughton of Bayville, NJ. Also one brother: George Boughton, Jr. of Wayne and two grandchildren Sarah and James. Graveside services will be Thursday February 19, 2004 at 11:00AM at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover, NJ.
