Obituary of James Lavorgna

James Lavorgna, age 59, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mr. Lavorgna was born October 9, 1953 in Paterson, the son of Vincent and Carmen (Palmieri) Lavorgna. He lived in Wayne and was formerly of Paterson. He was previously employed at the Wall Street Journal. Mr. Lavorgna is survived by his beloved parents Vincent and Carmen; his loving son James Samolowicz; and his cousins. Visiting hours will be Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. The funeral Mass will be Saturday December 29, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, 630 Valley Rd., Wayne and will be celebrated by Rev. James O'Rourke. Interment will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
