Obituary of Raymond Diaz, Sr.

Raymond Diaz, Sr., age 72, of Totowa died Tuesday, January 20, 2004 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Paterson. Mr. Diaz, Sr. was born August 31, 1931 in Gurabo, PR, the son of the late Gerardo and the late Gregoria (Hernandez) Diaz. He lived in Totowa. He was the owner/operator of the International Barber Shop , Passaic,NJ for over 50 years. Mr. Diaz was a member of St. Gerard Majella R.C. Church, Paterson, NJ. He is survived by his wife the former : Christela Hernandez, one son: Raymond Diaz, Jr. of Totowa, NJ, one sister: Zoraida Diaz of Gurabo, PR, five brothers: Gerardo Diaz of Fajardo, PR, Benilda Diaz of Clifton, NJ, Ishmail of Caguas, PR,and Moises & Israel of Gurabo, PR Visiting hours will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Saturday at 9:30AM at St. Gerard Majella R.C. Church, 501 West Broadway, Paterson where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Fr. Jack Hanley.
