Obituary of Kermit J. Dockray, Sr.

Kermit J. Dockray, Sr., age 83, of Spring Hill died Monday, December 1, 2003 at home in Spring Hill, Fl. Mr. Dockray, Sr. was born June 21, 1920 in Paterson, NJ the son of the late James and the late Verna (Boden) Dockray. He lived in Wayne and west Milford before moving to Spring Hill in 1998. He served in the Army from 1944 to 1946 during World War II . He was employed as a parts inspector by Chicago Pneumatic, Garfield for many years before retiring. He was a former member of st Joseph RC Church, West Milford. He is survived by two daughters: Linda Dockray of Spring Hill, FL and Rita Dockray of South Boundbrook, NJ, three sons: Kermit, Jr. of West Milford, NJ, Robert, Sr. of Hawthorne, NJ, and Thomas of West Milford, NJ, 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife: Rita M. (Watson) in 1984. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Friday at 10:00AM at Our Lady Of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Fr. Michael Lombardo. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Memorials may be made to Your Favorite Charity
