"Aunt" Elsie has been a very important part of my life. She and my mom, Anneliese Feltrin, were confirmed together. I always loved visiting with her either in person or on the phone.
One of my fondest memories is when my aunt passed away in 1974 my mom asked Aunt Elsie and her friend Vicky to take my sister and I to see the Ice Capades at Madison Square Garden. We had the tickets, but my parents didn't feel that they should go. We had a wonderful time, and I never forgot it.
When my mom fell and broke her hip in January of 2002 Aunt Elsie called me almost every night to ask how I was doing. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that. Aunt Elsie was always so loving and caring, and I loved her very much.
For health reasons I can't come to the funeral, but please know that I will be there in spirit. I send all my love to Karen and Bill and Uncle Bob. I will truly miss Aunt Elsie with all my heart, but I will always remember her with much love and appreciation.
