Obituary of Richard K. Vile
Richard K. Vile, age 70, of Wayne died Tuesday, November 25, 2003 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne.
Mr. Vile was born March 26, 1933 in Jersey City, NJ the son of the late Charles James and the late Olga (Kortlang) Vile. He lived in Lyndhurst for 29 years before moving to Wayne 42 years ago.
He served in the US Marine Corps from 1952 to 1955 during the Korean Conflict. He received the Korean Service Medal, the UN Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.Mr Vile was a former member of the Lyndhurst American Legion and the Masons.
He was retired from PSE&G Palisades Division - Secacus,NJ in 1994 where he was an Underground Electrical Supervisor.
Mr. Vile was a parishioner of Our Lady Of Consolation R.C. Church, Wayne.
He is survived by his wife: Patricia (Michelini) of Wayne, Five sons: Daniel of Julian, CA, Richard of Rutherford, NJ, Thomas,Steven and Francis all of Wayne, and 5 grandchildren: Sean,Michael,Nicole, Bruce & Olivia.
Visiting hours will be Friday from 3-5 & 7-9PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. A prayer service will be held at 4:30PM Friday at Moore's Home For Funerals with Fr. Michael Lombardo officiating.
Private Cremation will follow on Saturday.
