Obituary of William “Westy” Weston

William Weston, age 85, of Wayne died Saturday, November 22, 2003 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mr. Weston was born December 22, 1917 in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Louis and the late Frances (Cwyn) Weston. He earned a BS in Industrial Management from Seton Hall in 1956. He served in the Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1945 during World War II . He was a Group Vice President employed by WITCO Chemical NY,NY before retiring. Previously, he was a manufacturing Representative for Morton-Weston, Wayne and the owner of Chatham Labs in Riverdale. Mr. Weston was a Board memeber of the Soap & Detergent Association, NY, and served as the Chairman of the Red Cross Drive in New York City. He was a member of the Preakness Reformed Church in Wayne. He is survived by his wife: Norma (Struble) of Wayne, one son: William Stanley and his wife Hope of Wayne, one sister: Paula McKeown of Wayne, and 3 grandchildren, Parker, Chandler and Talbot A memorial service will be held Monday, December 1, 2003 at 10:30AM at Preakness Reformed Church, 131 Church Lane, Wayne with Rev. Dennis L. Te Beest officiating.
